Winter Break 2024 12/16 - 1/26

We are closed from 12/16 through 1/26.

Located conveniently on the Academic side of campus, the Cub Café is an all-you-care-to-eat residential dining hall featuring a variety of menu options freshly prepared and cooked, and a popular destination for lunch in between classes.

This fall, beginning September 2024, we are excited to launch a sustainable solution for your meals on the go! Planet Ozzi’s Closed-Loop Technology Solution for Sustainable Dining aims to eliminate single-use disposables with the new Ozzi Reusable To-Go Program.
Here’s How It Works:
  • Step 1: Buy into the program at Cub Café for $5 using Flex, Bear Bucks, Cash, or Card.
  • Step 2: Fill your To-Go Box as usual with your favorite bites from Cub Café and enjoy it around campus!
  • Step 3: After finishing your meal, empty your To-Go Box completely and return it to the Ozzi Drop Box located outside Cub Café. This drop-off is available while the McFarland Student Union is open.
  • Step 4: When you return your box, you’ll receive a token. Exchange the token at Cub Café with the cashier to get a clean To-Go Box for your next meal.
The To-Go Program will be available during lunch from 11am to 3pm, and for dinner from 3pm to 6pm. Disposable utensils, cups, and soup bowls will still be provided.
Once a student swipes in for their To-Go Meal, their Meal Plan Swipes will freeze until the next meal period. Flex Dollars, Cash or Card can still be accepted at Cub Café or South Dining Hall during this time.
For more information, including answers to common questions, check out our Ozzi FAQs.

As a reminder, South Dining Hall is a dine-in, all-you-care-to-eat location offering unlimited access with your meal plan. While you're welcome to leave with a small item like a piece of fruit, ice cream, or a cookie, it's important to help us maintain enough dishware for everyone. Please refrain from taking plates, bowls, baskets, glassware, or silverware outside of the dining hall. Additionally, the Ozzi Reusable To-Go Program is not accepted at South Dining Hall. For the benefit of all diners, please do not bring in personal to-go containers, Tupperware, or disposable plates.
